A: Steps to making a reservation:
A:We accept all credit cards, Paypal, cashier’s checks, and money orders. Sorry, no personal checks are accepted.
A:You may check in any time after 4:00 p.m. Since we aren’t a large cabin rental management company, you don’t have to check into an office before they close! We will e-mail you all the information you need and you can drive directly to the cabin.
A:Guests must check out by 10:00 a.m. If we have a check-in on the same day you leave, we need every minute in order to ensure the cabin is clean to our high standards and completely ready. We drain and sanitize our hot tub after every reservation. This takes time.
Q:What do you provide in the cabin?
A: We provide all linens, bedding, kitchen utensils, pots and pans, and dishes. There are also some snacks, coffee, tea, and cooking herbs. You’ll also find napkins, paper towels, bathroom tissue, dishwasher detergent, all-purpose spray cleaner, garbage bags, laundry soap, shampoo/conditioner, and bath soap. Most basic items should be sufficient for a short stay. However, depending on the number of guests and length of your stay, you may have to replenish some items. The cabins are also equipped with a broom, mop, vacuum cleaner so so you can keep things tidy during your stay.
Q:What should we bring ourselves?
A: You’ll need to go grocery shopping if you plan to cook. We’ll send you directions to the nearest grocery store so you can stop on your way in. If you plan on BBQing, you should pick up some charcoal supplies. If previous guests left charcoal behind, we leave it for you but there is no guarantee. Also, bring an array of clothing to help you be prepared for weather fluctuations. Even in the warm summer, the evenings can get quite brisk. Here is a page of suggested packing items that may be helpful.
Q:Do you provide any cleaning services at your cabin during our stay?
A:No. We don’t provide services at our cabin. You rent our home and live like the locals! There are two trash cans outside the cabin. If you fill them, we will provide you with directions to the local garbage “convenience” center which is very near the property. There is NO charge for dropping off trash.
Q:Do your cabins have a gas or wood-burning fireplace?

Q:Is there a phone at the cabin?
A: A telephone is available in each cabin for local calls only. Our local area code is "865." This area covers a large area and extends into Knoxville. However, you will need to use a telephone calling card if you wish to make long distance calls. Some cell phones will experience limited connectivity in our area or may only work on the major roads in town.
Q:Can I change my reservation?
A: Because we are a small business, changes to reservations can seriously affect us. This is the reason we must have a strict cancellation policy. If you must depart prior to your confirmed reserved departure date, you will be responsible for all of the original room nights booked for your intended stay.
Q:How much can I pay to “hold” your cabin?
A:If you reserve the cabin over 30 days from your stay, we need ½ of the full amount to reserve. If it is within 30 days, we require the full amount to reserve the cabin.
A: We do have a pet friendly policy. Please read it carefully and make sure your pets qualify and you can live with our policies. Specifically, we ask that you crate your pet when you leave the cabin. Even the most well-behaved pet engage in some surprising behaviors when left alone in a strange environment. A secure crate with a familiar blanket from home is the best and most calming environment during your extended outings. More on the benefits of crating.
